About the Role
We are hiring a Safety Officer to enforce and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure that all safety procedures are strictly followed and documented in compliance with UAE regulations.
This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce HSE procedures on-site
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Prepare safety reports and maintain documentation
- Train staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Investigate and report incidents or near-misses
Qualifications
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification
- Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience (UAE preferred)
- Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
